INTRODUCTION

 The artistic robot draws the complicated design on the

sand table with the help of computer programme.

 In prior technique, the design made on sand manually due

to which complicated design is difficult to made.

 But using this technique of drawing by using computer is

easy and accurate.
WORKING
 The programme is to prepare first according to the
design or pattern is to be make on sand.
 Than the programme is fed into the arduino circuit
through computer to run the programme.
 This circuit control the motion of stepper motor through
controller to move the sliding block on linear guide with
the help the belt.
 This sliding block movement move the steel ball placed
on glass table with the help of magnet placed on sliding
block.
 The steel ball move on sand to make pattern on sand
according to the programme.

COMPONENTS

1. ARDUINO CIRCUIT

• The main function of arduino circuit is to Control the

motion of arm using stepper motor according to
programme and return the arm at starting position after
completion of loop.
CNC Shield

 CNC shield allows the external power supply up to

36V for powering powerful stepper motors and also
has the pins for setting up end stop and also the CNC
controllers.
CNC controller

 CNC controller takes the input from the CNC shield and
supply the output to the stepper motor and rotate the
stepper motor as per the programme.
Stepper motor

 Stepper or stepper motor allows to certain degree of

movement rather than making a whole spin it can divide
the spin into smaller parts.

 The motors position can then be commanded to move and

hold at one of these steps without any position sensor for
feedback, as long as the motor is carefully.

 sized to the application in respect to torque and speed.

GT2 Belt

◦ A GT2 belt is a looped strip of flexible material used to

mechanically link two or more rotating shafts. A belt drive
offers smooth transmission of power between rods at a
considerable distance.
Linear bearing

• Linear bearings are bearings which allow

free linear motion. It consists of a movable
part and a guide rail. There are recirculating
balls in the bearings which carry the load.
GT2 Pulley

 A GT2 pulley is a wheel on rod that is designed to

support movement and change of direction of a belt
along its circumference.
Rod holder

 Rod holder hold itself on base plate as well as to connect

the rod along the side block.
Steel ball

A steel ball is placed on disc which is connected to the

magnet through glass disc.

Magnet
It moves the steel ball on the table and it is connected to
the H-drive linear guide to draw on the sand.

CONCLUSION
 The design on the sand using the computer
programming by H-drive mechanism is very accurate
and easy. There is no machine is used in the sand design
till date. It is done manually due to which the
complicated shapes cannot be drawn. But we have our
project which will overcome this demerit by drawing the
complicated shapes using the computer programming
with human interference. The main aim of our project is
to draw the complicated and endless pattern easily.
