occasional bursts of high energy. It can occur indoors or outdoors, alone

OUR ISSUE

• Issue: Give opportunities to the children to involve in the active

play; get the well-developed childhood.
Why Canadian
1. Canada weather conditions
kids are not having enough active play?
In Canada most of the children spend more than half of the day in childcare facilities, and at times Early Childhood Educators are unable to

provide the recommended physical activity levels due to an inclement weather, which significantly limits the amount of time children spend

outdoors facilities.

2. Modern technology and television

While more and more countries are developing physical activity guidelines for the 0 to 5 years period, and also they are confirming that the

childcare centers provide kids with satisfactory outdoor play equipment and outdoor play space, but unfortunately children in Canada spend

their times to play video games and electrical stuff

3. Involvement of parents from their busy life

Parents just can limit the screen time but at the same time they can engage with children by setting their schedule to be more active such as

take the children to the park, swimming pool or dancing classes, exploring a new hiking trail or participating in an organized sport as a family.
