Kinds of Motivation • Intrinsic Motivation • Extrinsic Motivation • Reading Efficacy Intrinsic Motivation Reiss (2012) said intrinsic motivation is “doing something for its own sake” for no reason other than because that is what he or she wants to do. Extrinsic Motivation Reiss (2012) said extrinsic motivation is doing something that refers to the pursuit of a particular goal. Reading Efficacy Kucukoglu (2013) said that in self-efficacy determines how people feel, think, motivate themselves and behave. Data Collection • The researcher distributing Foreign Language Motivation Reading Questionnaire (FLMRQ) • The researcher distributing Reading Comprehension Test Data Analysis Method To analyze the data, first researcher present the raw value of students' reading motivation based on the questionnaires and their reading comprehension based on the reading test. Then, the researcher will analyze the correlation by using Pearson Product Moment in SPSS program.
