Safety and security is everyone’s


responsibility.
Know your role in an emergency situation
and in protecting guest and hotel assets.
Report unsafe conditions or security
concerns immediately and correct them if
possible.
FIRE EMERGENCY ALERT
If a fire, smoke or unusual heat is discovered or suspected, there are four steps
that should be followed using the acronym CAPES

CLOSE THE DOOR


Close the door behind you to delay the growth of the fire
ALARM
Pull the Alarm Pull Station to activate the alarm. This will alert others in the area
of a potential threatening situation and also activate the fire alarm system which
will initiate an immediate response by the Emergency Organization Members
PHONE THE HOTEL’S EMERGENCY NUMBER: 555
Go to the nearest telephone and dial the in-house emergency telephone
number. Be prepared to give your name, location and the nature of the
emergency. Do not hang up until you are directed to do so or the emergency
operator hangs up
EVACUATE
Once you have performed the first three steps, inform employees, visitors and
guests in the immediate area to exit the building using the fire exits.

the core group formed to ensure the
property’s ability to provide a quick
response to any emergency.

alert (alarm, calls, reports, etc), the
Operator inform the FERT ( First
Emergency Response Team ) members
through Mobile phone or handy Talky.

 Immediately after receiving the calls, the


following FERT members ( Assistant
Manager ,Security & Duty Engineer ) go
to the incident/accident site.
