DWS is succeed if saw from oil and water production ratio in each zone. And also get water-free oil production in top
completion (oil zone) and oil-free water production in bottom completion (water zone) its called segregated flow. This
condition can applied in gas well.

KESIMPULAN
1. Downhole Water sink (DWS) technology is a completion/production technique for controlling water inflow to oil and gas
wells in reservoirs with water drive and strong tendency to water coning
2. DWS may reduce or eliminate water from oil/gas production stream by hydrodynamic effect of water drainage in-situ
below the oil-water or gas-water contact.
3. From DWS technology we can get water-free oil production in top completion (oil zone) and oil-free water production in
bottom completion (water zone) its called segregated flow. This condition can applied in gas well and also reduce cost
treatment in surface facilities.
4. DWS also applies to oil wells with gas lift where it requires optimized dual gas lift design.
