• The term euthanasia means the end of life without pain.
• This is an action or process that accelerates the death of a disabled patient in
order to avoid suffering
EUTHANASIA IN THE WORLD

• in the world euthanasia is denounced as an illegal procedure, but there are

exceptions as in the case of Holland and Belgium where in 2000 legalized this
practice, but can only be used in people over 17 years and meet other
requirements, in other countries this procedure is illegal.

 TYPES OF EUTHANASIA

• DIRECT EUTHANASIA: to advance the hour of death in case of an incurable disease. This is a turn has two

• Indirect euthanasia: This is the case when procedures are performed with a therapeutic intention that can
cause death as

Christians are mostly against euthanasia, their arguments are:

• Life is a gift from God
• Human beings are valuable because they are made in God's image
• The process of dying is spiritually important, and should not be disrupted
• All human lives are equally valuable
