Los estudios fitoquímicos de esta hierba revelaron la presencia de numerosos polisacáridos, antocianinas, cumarinas,
taninos, flavonas, flavonoles, antocianidinas, leucoantocianidinas, mucílagos y aceites esenciales. También han descrito la
aparición de terpenoides como sesquiterpenos, diterpenos, monoterpenos en M. malvaceae.
Malva para la artritis: machaca las flores y hojas de la malva y con el extracto
obtenido realiza masajes sobre las zonas afectadas por la artritis para aliviar la
inflamación y mejorar la movilidad.
Malva para las hemorroides: para mejorar y reducir las hemorroides vamos a
preparar baños de asiento con malva. Ponemos en un cazo un litro de agua y
cuando hierva el agua añadimos 25 gramos de hojas y flores. Apaga el fuego y deja
reposar 30 minutos. Después colamos y usamos realizando baños de asiento
Malva para garganta irritada y tos: pon a hervir un litro de agua. Cuando rompa a
hervir añade dos cucharadas de hojas y flores de malva. Apaga el fuego y deja
reposar durante 20 minutos. Transcurrido este tiempo colamos y, cuando esté a
temperatura ambiente, utilizamos haciendo gárgaras tantas veces al día como
necesitemos.
