INTRODUCTION
• A payroll system is software designed to organize all the tasks of employee
payment and the filing of employee taxes.

• The Gastro Publiko is the first Gastropub in Lipa City, offering a wide range
of food and drinks to be enjoyed by both family and friends. The Gastro
Publiko is a restaurant in the morning and a bar at night.

• The proposed system is for managing the payroll for the employee which will
make the owner’s work easier. They can use the payroll system for them to
compute faster and easier the salary of the employee of Gastro Publiko. The
designed system is a fully automated system, reliable, fast, accurate,
eliminate paper work and it saves time.

The system approach (Input-Process-Output System) was used to describe the

conceptual framework of the study.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
 To design and develop a Computerized Payroll System for Gastro
Publiko that provides fast transactions, minimize the manual checking of
employee’s daily time record, monitors previous employee loans, cash
advance and charges, and can generate essential reports. Payroll system
provides a complete and accurate record of all payroll transactions and it has
an ability to monitor the attendance of the employees that will give them the
amount to paid.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. Develop a system that will improve the Gastro Publiko process
in the Timekeeping and Payroll.
2. Develop a system that will monitor employee’s service hours
and pay rates that is easy to use.
3. Calculate payroll transactions easily
4. Secure the records of employees and to have more manageable
files
5. Generate accurate year-to-date reports for employee income

AND
LIMITATION
SCOPE
A payroll system can reduce the amount of time it takes you to run
a payroll. If you run payroll by hand, you have to do manually all
the calculations. However, in the payroll system, system does
those tasks for you and provides accurate accounting of the funds
provided or paid to employees for their work and services
performed.
LIMITATION
The study is limited only to the gastropub in Lipa City. Its
limitations include the system which is personally made for them.
The system cannot generate report of appraisals and evaluation
reports of the employee because it was not included in the system.
The system will be only used for payroll transactions by the
company specifically Gastro Publiko. It will not be employed in
other businesses other than Gastro Publiko.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
To the Employees
The employees will benefit in the system. They will find it easier
to transact about their salary since searching in the system is
faster than tracking in the record book. It would be fast and easy
for them to handle transactions such as report making and
monitoring time entries
To the Students
The proponents will gain knowledge about the business system,
with this; skills in system analysis will be improved and also it
helps the future researcher to have an idea about payroll system.
They can learn about the proponent’s system and at the same
time develop a greater system with the help of the proponent’s
study.
