1. Become aware of your own instructions-giving.
2. Plan essential instructions. Analyse them beforehand.
3. Separate instructions clearly from the other chit-chat,
joking, etc. that occurs in class.
4. Demonstrate rather than explaining .
5. Check students have understood what to do.
