Project : Road Concreting of Road

Location : San Carlos, Negros Occidental

A. Site preparation:

1. Road Plan orientations , layouts and Public consultations and feasibilities.

2. Acquisition of necessary permits and clearances.
3. Mobilization of first set of equipments and manpower , construction
of temporary facilities.
4. Survey for Road Profiles, stake out and ground markings.
B. Construction Equipment to be used:

1. 1 unit crawler type backhoe with concrete breaker, 1 cum. capacity.

2. 1 units dumptrucks.
3. 1 unit 10 tonners vibratory roller

4. 1 Unit walkbehind ( 1 tonner vibratory Compactor )

5. 1 unit plate compactor / tamping rammer.

6. 1 unit concrete cutter

7. 1 unit service vehicle

C. Manpower and Work Force:

1. 1 Construction Manager
2. 1 Site Engineer
3. 1 Project Safety Officer
4. 1 Foremen
5. 2 Heavy Equipment Operator
6. 2 Drivers
7. 3 Carpenters
8. 4 Masons
9. 5 Laborers
D. Construction Proper:

• The road should be sub grade and compacted to the required density
• The Inspector Checks and Verify the Final Elevation for the Concreting of Road
• The concrete shall be Vibrated for the full width and depth of the strip of
pavement being placed
• The Concrete shall be placed with an approved slip – form paver designed to
spread, consolidate, screed and float finished
• A hand Finish will be necessary to provide dense and homogeneous pavement in
conformance with the plan and specification
• After the final Finish the concrete shall be broomed as part of road specification
