• Facebook- Within 24 hours, 12 million #MeToo
posts, comments and reactions.

1. The phrase "Me too" was tweeted for the 1st time on October 15, 2017.
2. Had been used 200,000+ times & tweeted more than 500,000 times within 24
hours, with over 4.7 million people using it in over 12 million posts.
3. Tens of thousands of people replied with #MeToo stories, including celebrities.
4. They were related movements that came into light such as #church too and
considerable focus on the fields of finance, politics and government, etc were
related incidents happened.
5. ME TOO bill in the US Congress : Member and Employee Training and oversight
on Congress Act on November 15 , 2017 was proposed by Jackie Speier.
6. Purpose of the bill is to change how the legislative branch of the US Federal
government treats sexual harassment complaints.
