INTRODUCTION

The project site is based on a hypothetical 200 year old tribe recently found. The area is inside
Sundarban in heart of the forest, the project site is 458 square kilometers. It contains miracles of
Sundarban and on visitation the entire place is introduced by a local guide of the ancient people.
Their culture is highlighted by looking at the beautiful combination of nature with human need.
They have formed their entire civilization on the sole basis of the forest. They receive all their
resources from the forest and yet no harm is caused to the forest. It is wonderful to see how they
have tamed the wild and live alongside of them. In the market place you can see wild animals like
tigers, alligators, wild monkeys, Asian elephants and various other wild animals which were
thought to be extinct. There are large farms of albino rhino which were not supposed to be
present at this part of the world but this animals are all found to be freely roaming and getting
help from the locals. Its shocking to see the extent of connection between the locals and the
animals around.
The entire place is like a sanctuary for the extinct animals.
Review of the project
proposal
The project covers an area of 458 square kilometers in the middle of the tribal
village. It is created according to the construction designs of the locals, in fact apart
of the design the locals took all the roles of building it. The project site has
recreational spots there are total 5 natural fountains and 2 brooks inside the
project area. Though it is preferable by the locals that no electricity is introduced
but there are some electricity introductions, with the use of networked solar
panels we have powered the place for the uses that all the visitors might need.
Though as far as the project goes this entire place is built in the nature and with
the nature so there will be very less need for electricity but as it might become
hard for some visitors to become disconnected with electricity and internet hence
we tried keeping some.
The wild animals move around with the locals and on arrival along with the locals,
the animals will also introduce the visitors.
The project retains a balance with the nature, the compartments built for resting
are 100% ecofriendly, they are small areas inside huge trees where you will find all
the primary necessary you need. As the project is in the middle of the forest
visitors will find multiple streams flowing around them. there are two huge cave
inside of the project site.
Background Data Collection

– The friendly nature of the locals create a comfort zone for our project.
– It is made sure the innovation of the locals and the vision for the project are
combined together.
– The language barrier are over come by teaching and learning cultures of both
ours and theirs.
– Preservation of extinct animals.
– Their style of Agricultural establishment will be providing us with new kind of
ways to agricultural developments.
Scope and Binding

– Making sure no disturbance is caused to the natural circle of the locals life
style.
– Teaching Local People on how to use electronical goods.
– Making the local people use their local currency instead of foreign currency.
– Training them to communicate with foreigners with proficiency.
– Keeping the visitors distant from the wild animals for the safety of the
animals as there are many extinct animals living here.
– Strong surveillance is required to protect both the visitors coming and on
the surrounding area.
Impact assessment of the
project and alternatives

– Due to certain rise in human visitation will the hamper in the natural heritage
be extreme?
– Introduction of new technology what kind of impact will it poses
– The resources used should not be extensive
– Installation of transport facility should be very sensitive for the ecology
– Littering is a major issue that needs to be fixed
– A new culture can be learned and the locals will find new cultures introduced to
them enriching their learning
– An anthropological discovery will be made
– Harmony of nature and people can be learned from the locals
– Slight pollution can be caused as the drainage system installed works with the
stream and no ETP is installed.
Field Investigation

– Due to the project how much disturbance is caused?

– Is our project suitable for such a place?
– Is the ecosystem hampered due to our project?
– What kind of impact will the project cause on the surrounding?
– Where will the water, food and other smaller essentials be provided from?
– Are locals allowing the project with or without hesitation?
Environmental Management
Plan (EMP)
– Monitoring and Assessing Impacts:
Our specialists will be collecting data on the basis of interaction between
locals, the environment and the proposed project.
• Natural Balance is nurtured because of the proposed project.
• Due to installation of drainage system the flow of water will be changed.
