At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- recall the characteristics of simple, compound and complex
structures
- select which of the sentences given fall under simple,
compound and complex structures
- categorise the sentences into SVO using the bridge map
- examine the difference between compound structure with
simple structure with compound subject/ verb/object using the
bridge map

the teacher by underlining the same
- correct the errors seen in the sample
- build simple, compound, complex structure using verbs related
to emotion
