Guidelines for Assignment

Total Groups : 12 groups of 5/6 members

Date of Submission: Next Day of LAM Examination

•Project Report : 25-30 Pages (word document, Arial font 12, line spacing 1.5)
submit report in soft copy only.

Total Marks: 40% for project Report.


If required, Students may be asked to submit a midway review reports and all or any on
e member from each group may be called for an interaction after submission.

Each group must have a coordinator who will be responsible for coordination among gro
up members and time management. He will help other members in finalizing which par
t of the project will be done by whom and ensure that there is no copyrights violation.

• A member ’s marks may be deducted for non-performance / non-cooperation in the gr


oup assignment.
The Projects should
• Aim to frame issues and be clear about the definitions and terminology pertaini
ng to the topic

• Present policy, legal, regulatory and judicial approaches to deal with the topic i
n a compelling fashion

• Consider compliance, implementation and enforcement realities of laws perta


ining to the topic

• Examine the need for further amendment in the existing laws or an enactment
of a new to deal with problems pertaining to the topic

• Consider role of management in dealing with problem.

• Need not to come up with a solution but must explore possible options to resol
ve the issues by churning and making an educated guess

• Make Suggestions with a view to make the existing legal, regulatory and mana
gerial systems and procedures to deal the problem in a more effective and pro
active manner
Try to explain the following issues in your report:

• How laws impact upon national and international business?

•What are the impacts of technology entering into the domain of busin
ess law?

•How technology helps in achieving the legal compliance and enforce


ment?

•How effective leadership and motivation can inspire businesses for bet
ter voluntarily compliance/self regulation ?

•How general legal awareness in public can be instrumental in ensuring


legal compliance on the part of the businesses ?

•How legal and ethical compliance can be used for profit maximization
and competitive business advantage?

•Note :

•Guidelines and Chapters are general in nature and do not confine your
study only to these headings/ aspects rather you may explore other pos
sible aspects and supplement your outcomes with relevant Indian and
foreign cases/ materials on the topic.

•You are expected to analyze the Indian law & compare it with suc
cessful foreign law on the point to understand adequacy and efficac
y of Indian laws and give suggestions for their improvements for b
etter result.

•Please do not share the report with any one else and keep the softc
opy of report with you ,Professor may require it for ready referenc
e any time before your grades are announced.

• Relevant annexure may be put at the end of the report and will not be counted
for page limit of report.

• We may use software to check plagiarism / violation of copyright law.
