 Objective
The objective of the project is to develop complete website for the hotel
which provide the following facilities to the customers:
• Provides the complete overview of the hotel.
• Provide access to information about the hotel’s facilities, services,
products.
• Provide facility for checking availability of rooms.
• Provide facility for online reservation of rooms.

And also provide following facilities to the administrator:

• View the booking information and contact information of all the
customers.
• View the availability of different types of rooms.
 System Requirements
These are the hardware requirements for making the website:
• PC with 1 GHz or faster processor
• 1 GB of RAM or more
• 2 GB or more of available hard-disk space
• Internet functionality requires Internet access

These are the software requirements for making the website:

• Windows XP/Vista/7.
• Dreamweaver: For creating and editing the pages.
• Firefox, IE or Opera.
• Xampp Software.
• Adobe Photoshop: For editing pictures.

• The Home page we gives the overview of the Resort.

• This page also gives an option for administrator login to view all
reservation details.

The Home page of the Website has the following options:

• On the administrator page, the username and password fields are
filled by the username and password provided to the administrator.

• These username and password are already stored in the database in a

table called ‘login’.

• After login, the administrator can view all the information from the
database such as Booking Information, Contact Information and
Number of Available Rooms.

• Each booking has an Id to uniquely identify each person who makes

the reservation.

• The administrator has also the option to Log Out.

The Facilities page gives a list of all the facilities the hotel provides. This
page has three sections:

1) Restaurant section describes the restaurant of the hotel.

2) Meeting Rooms section describes the meeting rooms.

3) Entertainment section list all the entertainment facilities provided in

the hotel.

Accommodation page gives description and images of all the four types
of rooms in different sections. It has the following room types :

• The Location Page describes location of Sunshine Hotel with a map.

• The transportation facilities to reach the hotel is given.

• The overview of Shenzen city is given in the Cityview section.

• This website provides facility for online reservation of rooms.

• The guests can choose the numbers and type of rooms. The rates of
different types of rooms per night are given on the page itself.

• After filling out the form, the user checks availability.

• If the rooms are available, then the user fills the information such as
name, email and phone number.

• After that the user books the room.

• The booking successful page displays all the information filled in the
form and the total calculated amount.

• The total amount is given by multiplying rate of the selected room in

room per night with no. of rooms and no. of nights.

• In case the rooms are not available, a page is displayed with
availability information of selected room type for all the dates
between check-in and check-out dates.

• It is complete and sustainable website for the hotel that help in
immediately deal with the Guest and provide adequate information to
guest.

• The site is made as dynamic and robust as possible.

• It is also very flexible and modification can be done when required.

• The reservation process is made a two step process which first involve
the checking of room availability and second involve filling of
personal information and finally booking the rooms.

• The administrator login system is almost implemented which provide

the complete information from the database in a user friendly manner.

• The provision is provided for future developments in the system.

• Also searching from the list of bookings can be implemented in

future.
 Conclusion
• The website is developed with much care that it is free of errors.

• It is efficient and less time consuming.

• The site is as dynamic as possible.

• Also provision will be provided for future developments in the system.
