How to successor in Physics

Physic is a brilliant
branch of science. It
is present in every • Basic mathematics
• It Is necessary to understand better and meaningful to physics. It enables you
aspect of life, other to understand the formula of law and especially to solve the numerical of
chapters. This basic mathematics composed of scientific notation, solution of

physics, that my you give difficulty and to use those components of your course
Most of the student that will help you overcome the difficulty. Obviously you will want to spend
more time on those aspects that give you more trouble. If you learn by
could not attending lectures it is very impressive to you. Because it gives you to share your
own views with other students as well as teachers.
Understand how to • Working with others. (Group study).
• The group is beneficial intellectually but also emotionally, as students,
successor in physics. encourage each other to study. They share ideas and hash out problems that
would be too difficult for an individual to solve alone. When one student
Following are some explains a concept to another, he reinforces the concept for himself. Study
groups are especially beneficial for pre-MED and medical students because

Lectures and taking notes
• An important component of any college course is the lecture. In
physics this is especially important because your profession will
frequently do demonstration of physical principles, run computer
simulation or show video clips. Are of these learning activities that will
help you to understand the basic principles of physics. So taking your
class notes or lectures in outline form it helps you more to understand
physics in every aspect.
Examinations. Or giving tests
• The examination is an important part of study to tell your mistakes which
happen in preparation of exams. By giving tests it helps you to
understand the level of study. So for this purpose you have to prepare
every topic or chapter in every aspect.

Introduction of physics
• “It is a branch of science to study the properties
Definition of matter and energy and their mutual
relationship.”
• Physics is known as to the name of experimental
science due to present in our daily life. It involves
our life because of two reasons, first it helps us to
understand the phenomenon of nature and
second physics is the foundation of engineering
and technology. If we design a practical device
Explanation or anything else than we have to study the basic
law of physics.
• Excepting this there are lots of other reasons to
study the physics. The study of physics is an
adventure. You will find it challenging. Sometimes
frustrating, etc

Q. What are physical quantities? Describe base and derived
quantities.

• Definition
• “ The property of matter that can be measured is known as
Physical quantities
Physical Quantities.”
• Examples: Mass, length velocity, force etc.

There are two types • 1. Base quantities

of physical quantities • 2. Derived quantities
• Such quantities which are basic and founder of all other
quantities are called base quantities. There are seven base
Base quantities. quantities
• 1. Length 2. Mass 3. Time 4. Electric current 5. Temperature
6. Luminous intensity 7. Amount of substance
• Such quantities which derive from base quantities are known
Derived quantities. as derived quantities.
• For example: Velocity, acceleration. Force etc.

04
Q. What is a unit? Explain base and derived
unit.
• The standard with which any quantity is composed
is called unit.
• Explanation
• We see in our daily life that when a person buy
Unit something that he will say give 5 kg mangoes on
this situation he will now say that give 5 meters
mangoes. So here Kg is a unit of mass and meter
is a unit of length so every quantity is described
with the same unit.

• The units of base bquantities are called base unit.

Base unit.
• For example: Kg, meter, second etc.
• The units of derived quantities are called derived
units.
Derived unit.
• For example: Speed, velocity, acceleration, force
etc.
05
Q. What are supplementary units?

• The unit which are not yet classified either they are fundamental
unit or derived unit are called supplementary unit. These units
are radian and steradian.

Q. Describe scientific notation.

• One of the problems that we encounter when dealing with

physical quantities is how to express very large and very small
numbers in a convenient way, so we express the number in
standard form called scientific notation which employs the
power of ten.
• For example the distance between earth and sun is
150,000,000,000 meters. In standard form it can be written as
1.5×10¹¹m or mass of hydrogen atom is
0.000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,001,673 kg so it can be written
as in standard form as 1.673×10¯² kg

Q. What is your weight in Newton?

Q. The quantity π = 3.14159....... Is a number with it is a ratio of two lengths.

Describe two or three others geometrical or physical quantities that are unifying

Q. Suppose, you measure the height of a wooded box of 12 kg that is 6 meters.

What is the magnitude of height?
