OVERVIEW OF THE PACKAGE CP-01
 Contract package CP-01 is for the Land Development of Depot
area. The contract for this package was awarded to Tokyu
Construction Co. Ltd.
 The all-out progress of construction works for this Package was
100% completed as of January, 2018 Before The Work Order
Time.
 Surcharged Loading going on by surcharged plate for monitoring
the settelment.

PILING WORKS FEATURES AND
DEFFICULTIES ARISE
 18.00 m Long Casing Pipe used on the piling due to
excessive cabeing on the bore hole during Piling works. For
this the progress of piling works is very low.
 Polymer used on the pile bore hole for reducing excessive
cabeing of soil in the bore hole .
 Polymer is a transparent chemical which are environment
friendly and Cost efficient.
 Sonic bore hole test performed after pilling for check the
pile integrity .
 Koden Test Was done for the check the vertical position of
the pile.

 Anti-sols RB From Sika Brand used in the
Viaduct segment As a Curing Compound.
 Rugasol By Sika Brand Used o The Viaduct
Segment Top Surfaces As a Surface Retarder For
the Rough Surfaces.
 Form oil Applied On The Mould Surfaces For
Having Fair-Face Concrete works.

Station : 03 Nos.
Length : 3.19 Km.

Package CP-06 is for


the Construction of
Viaducts and Elevated
Stations from Karwan
Bazar to Motijheel.
Station : 04 Nos.
Length :4.92 Km.
OVERVIEW OF THE PACKAGE CP-05 & 06.
 The award of CP-05 contract for BDT 1854,69,70,403/- (including
Vat-Taxes) for the Construction of 3.20 Kilometer Viaduct and 3
Stations between DMTCL and Tekken-AML-Abenikko JV
[Tekken Corporation (Japan)-Abdul Monem Ltd. (Bangladesh)-AB
Nikko Kogyu Co., Ltd. (Japan) JV] was signed on 30 April, 2018.
 The award of CP-06 contract for BDT 2332,03,11,015/- (including
Vat-Taxes) for the Construction of 4.92 Kilometer Viaduct and 4
Stations between DMTCL and SMCC-ITD JV [Sumitomo Mitsui
Construction Co., Ltd (Japan) and Italian-Thai Development
Public Company Ltd. (Thailand) JV] was signed on 30 April, 2018.
PRESENT STATUS
 This is the most difficult contract package for its
Location.
 Currently Only Utility Relocation Works Going
On Here.
 This Package Includes Two (02) Special Stations.

 Pier To Pier Distance 30.00m.

 Station Area Pier To Pier Distance 15.00m


UTILITY RELOCATION CHART
ELECTRICAL WORKS ON MRT LINE 6
 Most Likely The Entire Metro Rail System will Oparate From
Here By Caternary Overhead System. Different types of building,
workshop, stabling shed will be placed also. So electrical power
also used in different types of building, workshop, stabling shed
etc. if necessary. At west side in depot area, 132 KV electrical
Receiving substations will be placed Here.A Dedicated Power
Connection Will Ensure From DESCO Tongi . Total load of the
depot area delivered from this substation. Solar energy also
planned to install in depot area which will be placed in stabling
shed and workshop roof. The capacity of solar energy will be
approx. 1 MW. 132 KV electrical Receiving substations will be
placed in Motijheel also. Normally back to back connection system
will used due to uninterruptable services. This power will be used
in two ways, one is main line for train and another is auxiliary
power line for station and depot area.
 Electrical energy of this area mainly delivered by different types
generator and with the support of DESCO Power line.

The Safety Issue And Guideline By MRT LINE 6 .
 MRT LINE 6 Authority Believes In Zero Accident Rate on
The Site Area.
 Everyone Must Ensured his PPE(Personal Protection
Equipment) Before Visit In Site Area.
 PPE includes Helmet, Safety Vest And Safety Shoe.
 We Should To keep a good relationship and contact with
every respective person belonging with the project works.
 We Should To Keep phone number of nearest Police Station
, Hospital And fire fighting offices for emergency.
