around 13 % of maternal deaths worldwide • PAC is needed to manage complications arising from unsafe abortion and incomplete spontaneous miscarriage. • Haemorrhage • Sepsis • PAC is an opportunity to prevent further unplanned pregnancy by promoting contraceptive use
