What is the source of a star's energy?

-The source of a star's energy is nuclear fusion.

-Nuclear fusion is a nuclear reaction in which two
or more atomic nuclie collide at very high speed
and join to form a new type of atomic nucleus.
-Fusion: The energy source of stars.
The energy released from the collapse of the gas
into a protostar causes the center of the protostar
to become extremly hot. When the core is hot
enough, nuclear fussion commences. Fusion is
the process where two hydrogen atoms combine
to form helium atom, releasing energy.
