Abstract
Homosapiens otherwise known as human beings have
extraordinary sight, having one of the most complex
structures in all of nature, their eyes. Although humans
have quite significant vision, so do Cats. A homosapien
can see colour, tone and shades, while on the other hand
Cats can’t see much colour and you could say they were
partially colour blind. Their eyes have adapted over time for
a specific purpose, Hunting. As predators in the feline
family, felines like cats have natural instincts prone to hunt,
mostly for cats it’s there nocturnal nature. To compare
human vision and cat vision, you would need to pay
attention to the position, degree, refraction of light and how
their eyes adjust to light.

Introduction
In this project I will be researching the human eye and the Animal eye. I will be
comparing Human vision with Animals particularly cats. I will be comparing and
contrasting the information and look at models so I can make a visual
comparison.
What problem will this technology solve?
What are the design constraints? Materials? cost?

Final design evaluation and justification

The final design was chosen because...

Materials and equipment
Method
Include a labelled diagram or photo
AND a video of the product in use.

The final design

Discuss 5 pros and 5 cons of the final design.
Describe what you’d do differently next time.

Describe 5 ways the final design meets the design
brief.

Conclusion
Although cats have the advantage in long distance and
during the night. Humans have the advantage in short
vision and during the day. When comparing the two I have
found that cat’s vision has turned out to have bigger
strengths when comparing against human vision. This is
because of not only the long and night vision but because
of the ways that they can use their vision as well as their
larger scope of vision. Overall even tho the cat doesn’t do
well in the day in comparison to humans, their strengths in
other areas have shown that the cat can have more
strengths in vision than humans.
