About The Company

Established in 2007 the GANGA ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES is a


leading player in the business of manufacturing and repairing to
transformers based in U.P. It is situated at Jangi Road, Mirzapur, U.P.
It is a government certified company having an extensive product range
of power and distribution transformers form 10 KVA to 630 KVA.
Almost two hundred workers are employed in the industry . The
GANGA ELECTRICAL has a sale turnover 3 core . It is connected with
several district electricity board and it has its client in the different
states. It has well established in the market of power sector . It products
are designed to meet the requirement of the market .
Detailed Profile Of The Organization Imparting
Training

M/s Ganga Electrical Industries born in Mirzapur U.P., is now


one of the must advanced and qualified Transformer manufacturer and
maintainer.

The Ganga Electrical Industries was established in 2007 as a


government contractor to prepare and maintain power Transformer ;
Letter on it become a manufacturer offering its product to the market .
It high specialization in supply transformer.
It’s Strengths

 Large investments in government power department so that the


company empower itself to stand in its business.

 It uses software to defined employment characteristics and machine

size in the early stages of design.

 Advanced organization of the four workshop where manufacturing


activities and the most accurate tests carried out.

1. Design, construction and testing of power transformers.


2. Reset of power and special transformer
3. Repair of broken Transformer, re- design ,re-winding & construction
of windings.
4. On site test and diagnostive to identify failure and mal-functioning of
installed transformers.
Objectives Of The Study

 To study the motivational atmosphere in the factory.

 To know the factor that influence the employees much.

 To analyze the investment by the company for the welfare of the


employees.

 To find the problems among the workers.

 To know the mode of activities that are being performed for the
workers to enhance their abilities.

 To analyze the reason of inactiveness of the workers.

Element Of Motivation

• Direction :- The goal or target that encourages an individual


towards the better performance is called direction .

• Intensity :- The level of energy applied in the desired direction is

called intensity .

• Persistence :- It is the determination with which a person puts in


effort and energy to achieve his goals.
Process Of Motivation

 Motive :- The process of motivation starts as soon as the individual

finds a motive behind performing any action .

 Behavior : - All the activities that an individual performs , when

he is motivated towards achieving personal and organizational goals

collectively constitute his behavior .

 Tension Reduction :- In an organization, employees tend to grow

motivation urges due to the cultural environment of the oragnization

and the obligation to achieve their goals .

 RESEARCH DESIGN

Research design is the conceptual structure within which research is conducted.


It constitutes the blueprint for collection, measurement and analysis of data was a
descriptive research. Descriptive research involves collecting numerical through
self reports collected, through questionnaires or interviews (person or phone), or
through observation. For present study, the research was descriptive and
conclusion oriented.

Findings
Following findings are generated from the study:

 Maximum workers are satisfied with the company’s policies.

 Most preferable needs of the workers are self fulfillment, affection and

status. Very few of them want rest and stability.

 Maximum workers learn form training sessions.

 Maximum workers are satisfied with their salary. Only 20% of them

are not satisfied.


 Most of the workers are troubled with their home lives. Some of them

suffering from their work.

 Financial factors motivates the workers most. Many workers want

recognition and appraisal from the company. Some of them fear from

their job.

 Company adopts high pattern of motivation to motivate the workers.

 Maximum employees valued their company. They take care of company’s

properties and they are loyal with the company.

 Company’s goals are aligned with the goal of workers.


Suggestions
 Company should find some ways to find out major problem of the workers to

maintain their work efficiency.

 It is necessary for the company to interact with the workers for face to face

motivation.

 Company should adopt some reward and punishment method to control and

maintain worker’s loyalty and reliability with the company.

 It is duty of the manager to come in contact with workers for direct motivation

and relation.
 Company should organize reward and recognition session for the workers

that they need from the company.
