JOB 12:10 (NIV)
In his hand is the life of
every creature
and the breath of all
mankind.
COLOSSIANS 1:15-16 (NIV)
15 The Son is the image of the invisible
God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For
in him all things were created: things in
heaven and on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or powers or
rulers or authorities; all things have been
created through him and for him.
EPHESIANS 1:3-14 (NIV)
3 Praise be to the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ, who has
blessed us in the heavenly
realms with every spiritual blessing in
Christ. For he chose us in him before
4

the creation of the world to be holy

and blameless in his sight. In love
EPHESIANS 1:5-6
5 he predestined us for adoption to
sonship through Jesus Christ, in
accordance with his pleasure and
will 6 to the praise of his glorious
grace, which he has freely given us
in the One he loves
EPHESIANS 1:7-8
7 In him we have
redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, in accordance
with the riches of God’s grace that
8

he lavished on us. With all wisdom

and understanding,
EPHESIANS 1:9-10
9 he made known to us the
mystery of his will according to his
good pleasure, which he purposed in
Christ, 10 to be put into effect when
the times reach their fulfillment to
bring unity to all things in heaven and
on earth under Christ.
EPHESIANS 1:11-12
11 In him we were also chosen, having
been predestined according to the plan
of him who works out everything in
conformity with the purpose of his
will, 12 in order that we, who were the first
to put our hope in Christ, might be for the
praise of his glory
EPHESIANS 1:13-14
13 Andyou also were included in Christ when
you heard the message of truth, the gospel
of your salvation. When you believed, you
were marked in him with a seal, the
promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit
guaranteeing our inheritance until the
redemption of those who are God’s
possession to the praise of his glory.

(COLOSSIANS 1:15-16)

II. TWO OPTIONS TO DISCOVER THE
PURPOSE YOU WERE CREATED FOR.

the purpose of an invention is
to ask the creator of it. The
same is true for discovering
your life’s purpose. ASK GOD
III. WITHOUT GOD LIFE MAKES NO
SENSE (EPHESIANS 1:3-14)

2. Remain in God so that

we may not be disqualified
or lose the privilege of
telling others about Christ.
1CORINTHIANS 9:24-27 (NIV)
24 Do you not know that in a race all the
runners run, but only one gets the
prize? Run in such a way as to get the
prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the
games goes into strict training. They do it
to get a crown that will not last, but we
do it to get a crown that will last forever.
1CORINTHIANS 9:26-27
26 Therefore I do not run like someone
running aimlessly; I do not fight like a
boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a
blow to my body and make it my
slave so that after I have preached to
others, I myself will not be disqualified
for the prize.
V. ONLY IN GOD CAN WE
RECEIVE THE FULLNESS OF
HIS BLESSINGS.
(DEUTERONOMY 30:1-10)

you come on you and you take them to heart wherever
the LORD your God disperses you among the
nations, 2 and when you and your children return to
the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and
with all your soul according to everything I command
you today, 3 then the LORD your God will restore your
fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you
again from all the nations where he scattered you.

land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God
will gather you and bring you back. 5 He will bring you to
the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will
take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous
and numerous than your ancestors. 6 The LORD your God
will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your
descendants, so that you may love him with all your
heart and with all your soul, and live.

curses on your enemies who hate

prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit
of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops

make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your
ancestors, 10 if you obey the LORD your God and keep his
