    The process of clay cup making is partially mechanized to facilitate semi- or un-skilled
    persons. This project proposes to make clay cups using a simple fly wheel operated mechanical press.
    The plunger mounted on ball bearings ensure smooth and uniform distribution of clay. The quality
    and surface finish of the clay pots or cups depend upon the properties of the soil. Clay cups are more
    environment friendly compared to plastic cups. Use of these products will bring more self
    employment opportunities in rural sector.
