OVERVIEW
Project “Career Point: Job Portal Management System” is a complete web based application
using laravel framework. The main aim of the project is to develop a web application for
the facilitation of employer and applicant regarding their job recruitment system. Applicant
search jobs according to his skills. This system will provide a very ease for the applicant to
apply for the post and for the employer to post the jobs.

 Objective of the Project


The objectives of the project are very clear
 To provide the facilitation for applicant and employer
 To make recruitment system more user friendly
 To advertise globally
 Employer and Applicant can chat rapidly
 To overcome the cost and time of search
EXISTING SYSTEM

An Existing system refers to the system that is being followed till now. The job posting and recruiting
system is working manually. The current system is time consuming and also it is very costly, because it
involves a lot of paperwork. To manually handle the system was very difficult task. But now-a-days
computerization made easy to work.

USE CASE DIAGRAM
 Use Case
Use cases define interactions between external actors and the system to attain particular
goals. There are three basic elements that make up a use case:
• Actors: Actors are the type of users that interact with the system.
• System: Use cases capture functional requirements that specify the intended behavior of
the system.
• Goals: Use cases are typically initiated by a user to fulfill goals describing the activities
and variants involved in attaining the goal.

SEQUENCE DIAGRAM
Definition
Sequence Diagrams are interaction diagrams that detail how operations are carried
out. They capture the interaction between objects in the context of a collaboration.
Sequence Diagrams are time focus and they show the order of the interaction visually
by using the vertical axis of the diagram to represent time what messages are sent
and when.

This system is consist on Three Actor

Database
A database is a collection of information that is organized so that it can be easily
accessed, managed and updated.
Data is organized into rows, columns and tables, and it is indexed to make it easier to
find relevant information. Data gets updated, expanded and deleted as new
information is added. Databases process workloads to create and update themselves,
querying the data they contain and running applications against it.
Every entity interact with this system assigned by specified roles. This system is consist
on Three roles

• Applicant
• Employer

CONCLUSION AND FUTURE PROSPECTS
At the end it is concluded that the system proved very helpful for the people. Now
becomes automated people have less time so this system is efficient for overcome cost
and time. Future enhancement of the system is possible.
