Recent initiatives
taken by the Institute….
 Online issue of
Registration Letter
on similar lines as being done for Admit Card
- On completion of registration as a student, the admission number will
be intimated to the student through E-Mail and/or SMS. Students can
download the Registration Letter, Important Instructions, etc. through
Institute’s website www.icsi.in by entering the Admission Number
received through E-Mail/SMS.

-E-Mail Ids and Mobile Numbers are invariably required to be mentioned

by students for prompt response.

-Students can download the same without even login ID & password
directly.

- Important instruction, Booklet- “ Guide to Company Secretaryship-

Study & Examination” are also available at institute’s website. The
same will also be sent to students along with set of study materials.
Firstly, student is required to open www.icsi.in

He/She will get following screen :

After that he/she will get following screen:
 E-counselor
• - will work as facilitator for student registration
• - will accept student’s registration forms through online
services at their portal, through their various facilitation
centers across the country. They will also depute their
officials at institute’s Regional / Chapter office for
acceptance of student registration form.
• - will provide the registration number, Registration letter
& e-Identity Card to student instantly
• - will either provide study materials instantly or will
provide the dispatch advice to main stores of institute for
dispatch of study materials.
• - Modalities are being worked out. The complete flow will
be intimated in due course.

 A humble Appeal
• Please send the Registration Forms received
at your respective Regional / Chapter offices on
weekly basis to Institute’s Noida office
( especially during the last dates of submission
of forms : on daily basis )
• Simultaneously please also send a statement
of forms being sent ( in excel sheet ) by e-mail.
•Format of the statement ( excel sheet ) will be
sent by e-mail after the meeting.

Firstly, student is required to open www.icsi.in

He/She will get following screen :

There are three options given :

1. Student : This is for existing students

2. Member : This is for members ( i.e. ACS /
FCS )
3. New student registration : This is for new
students who want to take admission in CS
Course by submitting online registration form
OR
For students who have already submitted their
registration form but till date have not received
their Registration Number / Registration Letter.
 Students who want to take admission in CS Course by
submitting their online registration form or new students who
have already submitted their registration form but have not
received their registration no. till date will be required to click
on “New Student Registration”, as shown below :
Through this screen, mainly two services can be availed :

If any new student is willing to take admission in CS

Course, he/she may submit his /her online registration form.
Payment of Registration fees is to be made either through
payment gateway ( of citi bank ) or through demand draft
drawn in favor of institute.
He/she is required to click on “Student Registration Form”
from the list given at the left hand side of screen.

Any student who has already submitted his/her registration

form, but has not received his/her registration no., he /she is
required to click on “ Registration Query” from the list given
at the left hand side of screen.
When student clicks on “Registration Query”,
he/she will get following screen :
By giving his/her any of the following particulars,
student can search the status of his/her
registration application :

1. Mobile No.
2. E-mail ID
3. Date of Birth & First Name
4. Application No.
 Students who are existing students and already got their
registration no., they will be required to click on “Students”, as
shown below :
In the same screen, student will be required to enter
his/her registration no. and the password, as shown
below :
If student is already having password, he/she is
required to enter the password, and proceed further.

If student is not having password, he may create

password on his own by clicking on the “Reset
password”, as shown in the following screen:
When student will enter his/her registration no. and will click
on reset password, he/she will be prompted to enter some
distinctive information like date of birth / city PIN Code no.

etc, as shown below :

 When he/she will enter the desired information,
he/she will get following screen to change/ re-set
his/her password :
Through this screen, student can create/
change his/her password. Further he/she can
also verify his Mobile No. / e-mail ID available in
the record. If there is any change in this, he/she
may instantly update the same.

If there is no change, he/she will be required to

click on the appropriate button to go ahead and
system will open the next screen showing
his/her details & photographs as per records,
like shown in the next slide.
By using ONLINE SERVICE MODULE, a student can avail
various services, as given below :

1. Student can view the status of application

2. Student can take printout of Admit Card ( i.e. Roll No. of
exam )
3. Student can take printout of Registration letter, De-novo
letter, Extension letter, etc.
4. Online Registration , Online examination form
5. Online Duplicate Identity Card
6. Online Change of Address, change of Mobile No. E-mail
ID etc.

In view of the above, it is recommended that :

i) Target for Foundation Program may be increased by 40% on
actual registration of the year 2011
ii) Target for Executive Program may be increased by 25% on
actual registration of the year 2011
