1.0 Introduction
 There is a huge competition for the tourism
industry today. So every hotel is going to
computerized their day today activities and
they are going to promote their business using
latest technologies. Therefore, we develop
hotel booking reservation system. Many local
and foreign tourists are faced lots of difficulties
when they are going to reserve a room. So
how can they make a reservation easily and
simply?
1.1 Goals and Objectives

* The main objective of our project is

changing manual room reservation system
into web based system by deeply
investigate the technological problems
associated with the hotel room reservation
system which would alive the existing
system.
* The objectives of the automated Hotel
Reservation System are to simplify the day
to day reservations of the hotel.
* The system will be able to handle many
service to take care of all customers in a
quick manner. As a solution to the large
amount of file handling happening at the
hotel, this web site will be used to overcome
those drawbacks.
1.2 Scope of Project
 Thewebsite product to be produced is a
Hotel Reservation System which will
automate the major hotel operation. The
Reservation and Booking System is to
keep track of reservations and room
availability. There are two end users for
the Hotel Reservation System. They are:
* Online Users (Guests)
* Administrator (management in the hotel)
System Functionality

* Guests registration module

Customer should allow registering to the site

for the reservations. After the registration
they can login to the site.
* Admin login module

The system should allow admin users to

access the system only with username and
password.
* Viewing reports module

Administrator should be able to manage

the hotel details. Administrator can check
booking status. The system shall send an
email notification to customer.
