* Remembering the dialogues and understanding
it, helps them to learn the language by
themselves.
* If the drama is in English, the focused in more
on the English Language. So , it is actively
used.
*Drama helps in overcoming stage fright
*The level of confidence can also be seen in
the way they act it out.
*Looking at others performance, also boost
one’s confidence level.
* Compared to all the four language skill, the
skill which is emphasized more in drama is
speaking skill.
* It helps one to communicate between one
another without having any awkward feeling.
* Helps to develop vocabulary level.
* Speaking with various vocabularies helps them
to remember and use it frequently
* Not only verbal but then non-verbal language is also given
emphasis in Drama.

* Facial expressions, hand gestures, body movements makes

the drama complete.

* Concentrating on the verbal language can make English

language seem to be hard for the pupils. With drama, the
body becomes a spontaneous part of the overall language.

* Thus, non-verbal language helps to communicate a message.

* Sometimes, pupils may find it hard to express or use the
language in some situations.

* Acting it out will give them a clear picture on how will they
react or use the language in a particular situation.

* Thus Drama helps to reduce fear of using Language in real life

setting.

* Eg: If it is a raining scene in the drama, they will know on how

and what to say if it is raining for real.
* As the pupils stage a believable character in drama , the
begin to sense the meaning words convey.

* Eg : I am in the pink of health

The pupil repeats the expression and knows how to use it.
However, one day the pupil feels good in real life and gets
to use the expression to tell others about her or his
condition. Only then, the real meaning of the expression
is felt.
