 LT TECHNICAL INFORMATION
 Engine and centrifugal clutch
– HondaGXR120/Hatz engine
runs at high speed 3750/3000
rpm
– Power is transferred via the
centrifugal clutch, which
means the rammer stands still
on idle speed
 Transmission
– Engine speed is reduced to
720 rpm in gear box
– The linear motion of the
rammer is created by the
crank shaft on the gear wheel

 Spring system
– The rammer leg contains one inner tube,
connected to the foot and one outer tube,
connected to the transmission housing
– Inside the inner tube is the spring loaded piston
– Crank shaft moves the piston up and down =
mechanical stroke
– Due to weight balance between machine and
foot, the foot jumps higher than the stroke =
jump height
 Balance and speed
– The rammer balance and speed forward
depends on all parameters, weight balance,
machine angle, frequency and jump height

New Honda GXR120 engine with diaphragm carburettor, designed specially for rammers

*The SAE J1349 standard measures net horsepower with the manufacturer’s production muffler and air cleaner in place. Net horsepower more closely
correlates with the power the operator will experience when using a Honda engine powered product. The power rating of the engines indicated in this
document measures the net power output at 3600 rpm and net torque at 2500 rpm, as tested on a production engine.
