be at the west of Kalinga.
• There is a possibility that the coins at Kot Lingala came there by means of trade.
• Maybe the word Andhra refers to an ethnic term.
• And lastly, the word Andhra itself does not find itself in the Satavahana records
and inscriptons.
• Thus, it is possible that the Satavahana rule unfolded around Pratshtanpura, i.e.
Paithan, first.
