strengths and weaknesses of the industry revealed: STRENGHTS • Printing quality as compared to other competitive organizations, clients in other developed cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna and Udaipur. Exporting only to Nepal currently.
• Constant vigilance on quality, appropriate customer
friendly behavior, honesty in deadlines and quick grievance removal.
• It provides employment as it requires a lot of manpower
and is also able to provide indirect employment too in the form of transport activities, designing etc. • A strict inventory control resulting in optimization of resources.
• Perennial demand. (may result in some changes
in pattern or design but the demand will always be there).
• Work in printing department does not require
too much complicated expertise and can be learnt in short time.

• The work carried out on everyday basis is mostly
scattered, due to meeting of deadlines.

• Sometimes the department gets chaotic with respect
to its work which reflects poor management and there is a lack of proper time management too. CONCLUSION & SUGGESTION No industry is free from threats and weakness. However if we take an overall view of this industry. It seems to be a fair industry with bright future. Its growth also seems to be better than satisfactory. If the government and the banking industry come forward with liberal support to this industry its growth can be further ensured. In addition, if power availability is ensured at subsidized rates it can give better margins to the entrepreneur. As a result of all the efforts and precautions, Arihant Plastics & Laminations has been able to achieve breakeven level within the 1st year it came into power which is unachievable for others especially in such a small town. In the coming future it will be able to break its self made record and earn a turnover of about a crore.
