Definisi Bank Perkreditan Rakyat

Berdasarkan pada butir 4 pasal 1 UU. No 10 tahun 1998

pengganti UU no 7 tahun 1992 tentang Perbankan

Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Syariah (BPRS) adalah lembaga

keuangan Bank yang dibawahi dewan kebijakan moneter, yan

melakukan kegiatan ekonominya berdasarkan prinsip syariah,
tanpa menghalalkan adanya riba.
Tujuan Bank Perkreditan Rakyat

Istilah Bank Status hukum BPR BPR Syariah pertama Ketiga BPR Syariah Perkembangan bank
Perkreditan Rakyat diakui dalam pakto kali berdiri, PT. BPR tersebut telah syariah dari awal
(BPR) dikenalkan sebagai bagian dari Dana Mardhatillah mendapat ijin keberadaannya hingga
pertama kali oleh Paket Kebijakan Bandung, PT. BPR prinsip dari Menteri November 2001
Bank Rakyat Keuangan, Moneter, Berkah Amal Bandung, Keuangan RI dan terdapat 81 BPRS
Indonesia (BRI) dan perbankan dan PT. BPR Amanah mulai beroperasi
Rabbaniya Bandung.
Ketentuan Pendirian Bank
Perkreditan Rakyat Syariah
Persyaratan pendirian:

1. Pendiri adalah WNI, Badan Hukum Indonesia, dan Pemerintah Daerah

2. Modal minimal yang dibutuhkan :
a. Rp. 2 miliar untuk BPRS di wilayah Jabodetabek
b. Rp. 1 miliar untuk BPRS di wilayah Ibu Kota Propinsi
c. Rp. 500 juta untuk BPRS di wilayah kota kabupaten/kotamadya.
3. Pemegang saham (pendiri) :
d. Tidak termasuk dalam daftar orang tercela;
e. Lulus fit and proper teswt yang dilaksanakan oleh BI;
f. Memiliki sumber dana yang berasal bukan dari pinjaman atau
sumber lain yang diharamkan oleh syariah;
4. Jumlah minimal anggota direksi adalah 2 orang
5. Jumlah minimal anggota komisaris adalah 2 orang
6. Perijinan dikeluarkan oleh Bank Indonesia (BI) dalam bentuk (1)
PERSETUJUAN PRINSIP, dan (2) IZIN USAHA.
