 TERMINOLOGY
When the term Internet is used to refer to the specific global

system of interconnected Internet Protocol (IP) networks,

the word is a proper noun that should be written with an

initial capital letter. In common use and the media, it is often

erroneously not capitalized, viz. the internet. Some guides

specify that the word should be capitalized when used as a

noun, but not capitalized when used as an adjective.

 SERVICES
 Many people use, erroneously, the
terms Internet and World Wide Web, or
just the Web, interchangeably, but the two
terms are not synonymous. The World
Wide Web is a primary application
program that billions of people use on the
Internet, and it has changed their lives
immeasurably.
 Communication
 Email is an important communications
service available on the Internet. The
concept of sending electronic text
messages between parties in a way
analogous to mailing letters or memos
predates the creation of the
Internet. Pictures, documents, and other
files are sent as email attachments. Emails
can be cc-ad to multiple email addresses.
