MULTI ACCOUNT EMBEDDED ATM CARD

INTRODUCTION

• The advent of technology is increasing day by day. Man

stopped carrying money purses or wallets with them
wherever they go. Instead, they started carrying Credit
Cards, Debit Cards and ATMs.
• If a human has so many cards he has to carry all the
ATM cards along with him. But, to avoid carrying all the
cards along with him we are inventing a multi account
ATM card.
• For the multiple accounts of the different banks we can
access by using a single ATM. In that single ATM all our
bank accounts data can be stored.
EXISTING SYSTEM

ATM Machine using RFID and GSM

• 1.This project uses a microcontroller from 8051 family.
• 2.The primary objective of this project is to detect SMART
CARD and we can withdraw amount from it.
• 3.It is permit able to single account
PROPOSING SYSTEM

• Multi Account Embedded ATM Card

• In the proposed system Multi Account Embedded ATM card,
we embed more than one bank account into a single ATM
card so that the customer can carry out the financial
transactions for multiple bank accounts. The user need not
carry multiple ATM cards and remember multiple passwords.
BLOCKDIAGRAM
20X4 LCD

• To display any character on LCD micro controller has to send

its ASCII value to the data bus of LCD. For e.g. to display 'AB'
microcontroller has to send two hex bytes 41h and 42h
respectively.LCD display used here is having 20x4 size. It
means 4 lines each with 20 characters.
KEYPAD

• Keypads are found on many alphanumeric keyboards and on

other devices such as calculators, push-button telephones,
combination locks, and digital door locks, which require
mainly numeric input.
ARDUINO UNO

• The Arduino UNO is an open-source microcontroller board

based on the Microchip ATmega328P microcontroller and
developed by Arduino.cc.
• The board is equipped with sets of digital and analog
input/output (I/O) pins that may be interfaced to various
expansion boards (shields) and other circuits.
• The board has 14 Digital pins, 6 Analog pins, and
programmable with the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development
Environment) via a type B USB cable.
ARDUINO UNO BOARD
FEATURES OF ARDUINO UNO

• Microcontroller: ATmega328.
• Operating Voltage: 5V.
• Input Voltage (recommended): 7-12V.
• Input Voltage (limits): 6-20V.
• Digital I/O Pins: 14 (of which 6 provide PWM output)
• Analog Input Pins: 6.
• Flash Memory: 32 KB of which 0.5 KB used by bootloader
• SRAM: 2 KB (ATmega328)
• EEPROM: 1 KB (ATmega328)
• Clock Speed: 16 MHz
SMART CARD READER

• Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses

electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and
track tags attached to objects.
• The tags contain electronically stored information.
Passive tags collect energy from a nearby RFID reader's
interrogating radio waves. Active tags have a local
power source such as a battery and may operate at
hundreds of meters from the RFID reader.
• Unlike a barcode, the tag need not be within the line of
sight of the reader, so it may be embedded in the
tracked object. RFID is one method for Automatic
Identification and Data Capture (AIDC).

GSM MODEM

• GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) is a digital

mobile telephone system that is widely used in Europe and
other parts of the world.
• GSM digitizes and compresses data, then sends it down a
channel with two other streams of user data, each in its own
time slot.
POWER SUPPLY

• There are numerous sorts of intensity supply. Most are

intended to change over high voltage AC mains power to an
appropriate low voltage supply for electronic circuits and
different gadgets.

Arduino IDE
1. Arduino compiler icon

2.In Arduino compiler, we write our project code and left first
corner icon “right” is to compile the project code.
• Compiler Screen
3.Dumping the code into the micro controller by using the right
arrow icon so that the code will be dumped on the controller.
ADVANTAGES AND APPLICATIONS

ADVANTAGES:
1.instead of multi cards. Multi-layer Security.
2.OTP generation for each and every transaction.
3.Compat to carry one card
APPLICATIONS:
1.ATM Systems
2.Access Systems
RESULT
CONCLUSION

• Thus the user can manage his/her multiple accounts in

various banks with the help of single smart card which
provides easy access and reduces the complexity of managing
more than one ATM card and their passwords
