Google has donated over $1 billion to renewable energy projects, and has
decreased its own footprint by using energy efficient buildings and public
transportation. The company is also an advocate of free speech and supporter of
gay rights. Google has very good employee benefits such as, free health care,
treatment from on site doctors, free legal advice with discounted legal services, a
fully stocked kitchen and onsite cafeteria with world class chefs and a free on-site
nursery because of their good social awareness and positive employee relations
Google is the best example of business ethics
Good Ethics
Microsoft started with Bill Gates who is one of Americas most generous
Philanthropists it was expected that Microsoft would do the same. The company
and employees donate over $1 billion yearly to charities and non-profit
organizations. They have also decided to tackle America’s IT professionals shortage
though its TEALS program. Through the TEALS program, employees are encouraged
to volunteer at local schools to teach students in computer science. They are the
highest played employees in America and they also have a lot of perks including
100% coverage on their health care premiums

Bad Ethics Took of the man being taken off the plane)

In April 2017, United flight 3411 wasn’t over booked but they needed four seats for
crew, so they randomly selected people from the fight to take another one, and
when a man was selected he said he couldn’t take another flight because he has
patients to see the next morning. Security officers were called on the plane, after a
few seconds, one of the men grad the passenger by his arm to get off the plane,
smacking his head against an arm rest and than dragged down the aisle and of the
flight. The CEO of United apologized for the incident in a sanitized corporate speak
saying “this is an upsetting event to all of us here at United”
Bad Ethics
Lee Jae-Young the Vice President of Samsung got caught in a political scandal that
took down the former Sought Korean President. He donated millions of dollars to
foundations run by a close friend of the President in exchange for government
favours. Now he is facing five years in jail for offering bribes to the President,
embezzlement, and hiding assets overseas and committing perjury before
parliament
