Case Study

Mobile learning is also called as m-learning. It is an online learning

system. It supports mobile devices, a continuous access to
the learning process. It can be on appliances like your phone, laptop
or tablet.

Mobile banking is a service provided by a bank which allows its

customers to carry out financial transactions remotely using a
mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

We can book movie tickets, rail ticket, air tickets etc with the help
of mobile applications

Now a days mobile apps are available for everything and it has
made our life easier.

 Installation and maintenance are less expensive for wireless networks.
 Allows access to the internet from anywhere
 It is very helpful for doctors and people who are working in remote areas to keep in
touch with the medical centers.

18
Disadvantages of Wireless Communication

 Anyone can capture wireless signals spread across the air.

 Wireless network need to be secured so that information do not get misused by
the unauthorized users.
