Manajemen merupakan suatu pendekatan yang dinamis dan proaktif dalam menjalankan suatu kegiatan
di organisasi. Manajemen keperawatan diaplikasikan dalam tatanan pelayanan keperawatan nyata yaitu
Rumah Sakit dan komunitas sehingga perawat perlu memahami konsep dan aplikasinya. Konsep yang harus
dikuasai adalah konsep manajemen keperawatan, perencanaan yang berupa strategi melalui pengumpulan
data dengan pendekatan 5 M (Man, Money, Material, Method, Machine), analisa SWOT dan penyusunan
langkah-langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan model keperawatan profesional dan melakukan pengawasan
serta pengendalian.
