INTRODUCTION
 What is the meaning of parenting classes?
 Parenting classes are educational development programs that
parents join to learn about compassionate for their children.
Parents go to the classes based on court orders, or simply as
a method to absorb better parenting skills. Parenting
classes are found throughout all the foreign countries, and
they are provided to parents with children of all ages.
POSITIVE(SHOULD)

 Parenting classes can help the working parents towards the

right way of parenting. This is because in most families today,
both parents are working longer hours and spending less time
with their children. Lack of knowledge about child development
has parents using “time-out” and its results as the only
discipline tool, nevertheless of a child’s age. There is a
confusion over the alteration between discipline and
punishment. Other than that, as a single parents or blended
families and parents are frequently dealing with numerous
discipline styles and methods to parenting. Some parenting
methods such as reflective listening or positive discipline do
need to be cultured through parenting classes and can be good
way for understanding and dealing with our children.
POSITIVE(SHOULD)

 Parenting classes also provide a unique opportunity for

parents to intermingle with other parents and share ideas
and apprehensions. Besides, meeting other parents who
might be facing same challenges like you, is a great way
to discuss ideas and tactics to parenting and make
informed decisions about the methods you want to take.
Parenting classes gives space for parents to reveal about
how their own parents raised them, as well as discuss on
how they are bringing up their own children. Sometimes
parenting can be stressful at the best of times, so
parenting classes often offer parents skills for managing
stress, anger and a way to a happy family.
NEGATIVE(SHOULD NOT)

 Parents are able to take care of their children just good.

Each child has their own individual requirements, and
why pay money to join parenting classes when you can
go to the library and get books and to read about it? You
can also ask your family members for advice if you need
it. People should not have to take a parenting class
because nobody have the rights to tell you how to raise
your child. How does the teacher know what is right or
wrong? Who made the rules? How do they know what is
right? Every parent has the right to raise their child as
they see suitable according to their own wish. Parenting
is a learning process and it is something that every
parent should have to figure out on their own.
NEGATIVE(SHOULD NOT)

 There is too much time and money that will be wasted. Have you
ever thought of how much money it will take to join parenting
classes? It will most likely become a state law and be paid for by
taxes. Some parents are too busy with work and do not have the
time to go or attend the parenting classes. Even if you need any
help in parenting skill, you can go and ask your elders (parents,
grandparents). The money will be wasted on parenting classes if
they did not give you a sufficient information about parenting
skills. It is a complete waste of time, when you got other
important things to do rather than spending your time every week
or day going to parenting classes for information that you already
know. Instead of paying a lot of money just to learn how to raise
the children, we could just use books and the internet to find
information for free.
CONCLUSION

 Parenting classes should not be compulsory because

everyone has their own beliefs on how to raise a child.
