disgrace for the family or the
surrounding environment. Until now
they have not received serious

This charity aim is to improve the

children life and create a better
future for disabled children, to
live like normal people
• The Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC) was
founded by the late Prof. Dr. Soeharso, a bone surgeon who first
pioneered the rehabilitation effort for people with disabilities in
Indonesia.
• After attending the International Study a Conference of Child Welfare
in Bombay and The Sixth International Conference on Social Work in
Madras in 1952, Prof. Soeharso has the initiative to establish a
foundation for children with disabilities.
