ART PRODUCTION Lesson 11

LESSON OBJECTIVES: AT THE END OF THIS

LESSON, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO:
• produce a presentation that involves the integration of
techniques and materials in spaces outside and inside the
gallery or museum; and
• apply your skills in research, collaboration, problem
solving, technology and organization through actual
production.
This is the synthesis of all the concepts on Contemporary Art that the students
have tackled in the previous lessons, they are expected to apply these
concepts as artist on their own right and to present their own interpretation of
the world around them.

Story Board – a production planning tool where, from the beginning until the
end, scene by scene details (Narrative, script, music, props, etc.) are noted down
beside illustrations of the desire output. This mapping out of the production aids the
artist(s) to solidify the imagery and creative ideas, to stick to their end goals and to
serve as the key document for all the crew members.

Production Schedule – a project plan involving details of activities across a

given amount of time from the start to the end of the production along with budget
allocations for every activity, helping the artist to be efficient with their time and
resources.
