 Recruitment (hiring) refers to the overall process of attracting, shortlisting, selecting

and appointing suitable candidates for jobs (either permanent or temporary) within an

organization.

 Selection is the process of interviewing and evaluating the candidates for a specific job and

selecting an individual for employment based on certain criteria (qualifications, skills and

Experience)

 Selection has been regarded as the most important function of HR department. It

ensures the organization that; it has right number, right kind of people at the right

place and at the right time.

Recruitment is the process of attracting individuals on a timely basis in sufficient numbers

Selection process is a decision making process. This steps consists of a number of

OBJECTIVE
 To understand the recruitment procedure and methods of the company.

To understand the selection procedure and methods of the company

➢ To ascertain the success of recruitment procedure in terms of number and quality


of response.

➢To ascertain the success of selection procedure in terms of duration, retention,


growth.

 To understand the various aspects of Human resource management.

1. Recruitment differs from company to company for each category.

2. The company do utilize internet sites for the recruitment process and for finding the
talent candidates.

3 The company are utilizing the job description in order to make screening process more
efficient.

4. The recruitment and selection process is decentralized.

5. The company’s HR team more focused and determined at their job.

6. Salary factors plays a very important role for the candidate .
