An LR Plan is designed to help the School
Heads and Teachers to:
a. Identify teaching and learning
resource needs
b. Assess and evaluate LRs/TRs/PDMs
needs as part of SIP process

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

23
c. To support the effective utilization of
identified resources and the requisite teacher
training/development in relation to:
 underachievement-national and periodical
exam
 NCBTS competencies-in subject areas
content and pedagogy

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

24
 Differentiated instruction and requirement of
other population that the school serves (e.g.
special education ,special science curriculum,
program for the gifted.
 Indigenization requirements

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

25
 Alternative mode of delivery to improve
access to education of target population
(girls, out of school youth, seasonal
absentees)
 Support facilities for the effective utilization
of resources at the school level

Learning Resource
Plan?

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

27
Training Module: Learning Resource Plan
28
 Output of a planning process to identify
learning/teaching/professional
development resource needs
 It is also an input to the School
Improvement Plan (SIP) and the Annual
Implementation Plan (AIP).

31
This refers to the specific areas in the
School Report Card on the following:
Curriculum Support (LS, LO,Assessments)
Teaching support
Learning Support
Training & Professional Development
Equipment Support (for teaching & learning)

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

32
Describe the benefit that will be gained
after the intervention as indicated in the
plan is undertaken. It answer the
question:
“What is/are the benefits to be gained by
the learner, teacher, and or school?”

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

33
 Are the measures used to specify the
achievement of the planned objectives.
These are used to declare if the
implementation of the plan was a
success or failure.

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

34
Project Plan: (Activities)
are the activities and actions taken to
contribute to the attainment of target
/objectives.

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

35
Project Implementation:
 Refers to the timeframe when the activities
will be conducted. The following should be
considered:
 Resource availability (time, funds, people)
 The accomplishment of some activities can be dependent
of another activity. Identifying the links and dependencies
of activities helps in the proper placing, timing and
funding of activities.

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

36
Responsibility
This refers to the human resource
requirement.
 determine who takes the lead, who
completes the task, who provides input
or support in relation to the specified
activities and timeframe
Training Module: Learning Resource Plan
37
Funding & budget:
 What source/s of funds are available? In
identifying the sources ensure that the
plan in its entirety is not solely
dependent on grants or MOOE.
 For major activities, attach budget.

Training Module: Learning Resource Plan

38
Monitoring & Evaluation:
This will become the basis for tracking the progress
and to make timely adjustment to the AIP.
Monitoring is the purposive gathering of pertinent
information relative to how targets and the manner
with which those targets are being achieved.
Evaluation is the analysis of the information gathered
during the monitoring phase with which to make
judgment as to quantity and quality achievement of the
objectives/targets. The evaluation may identify
adjustments to be made.
