Title of Seminar/Project
INTRODUCTION

 3D face has been introduced in the literature to deal

with the unsolved issues of 2D face recognition,
namely lighting and pose variations
 Individual features of 2D and 3D are far from
distinctive for discriminating human faces, we
further present an adaptive score level fusion
strategy for multimodal 2D-3D face recognition
MOTIVATION

 2D Face images are traditionally used in civil

governmental applications. An extension from 2D to
3D images will lead to several advantages when
setting up automated authentication systems
 we concentrate on privacy enhancing technologies
for biometric information where we focus on 3D face
images.
SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES

 In order to prevent frauds of ATM,it is recommended to

prepare the database of all ATM customers and
Deployment of high resolution cameras with face detection
software in ATM.
 Duplicate Voters are being reported in Elections. To prevent
this, a database of all voters is recommended to be
prepared. Then at the time of voting the resolution camera
and face recognition equipped of voting site will accept a
subject face 100% and generates if match found.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
REQUIREMENTS

 SOFTWARE : A Good Database of Faces and

good algorithm for scanning 3d Model , and
considerable amount of data sets to train your
machine learning model.Local binary pattern
detector is fast Algorithm.
 HARDWARE : CPU power, and not camera
quality, plays the largest role in detecting a large
number of faces simultaneously. So good
ram,processor,storage and camera must be
present.
BLOCK DIAGRAM
PROJECT PLANS

 Some Colleges use Biometric fingerprint scan for

marking Attendance of teachers and Students. So
For Marking Attendance one has to go at the Place
and scan. This can be time consuming when too
many come at same.
 In Face Recognition, Camera scans mutliple Faces at
one time. Hence reducing time for marking
attendance.
CONCLUSION

 The distinctiveness of popular features extracted

from both the registered 2D face images and 3D face
models and the benefit of their fusion for the task of
3D face recognition. Sparse Representation Classifier
was explored to calculate all similarity measures
compared with the ones by a baseline of NN. We also
proposed an adaptive score level fusion based on
weighted sum rule.
