 A quadcopter, also called a quadrotor helicopter is
a multirotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by
four rotors
 Quadcopters are classified as rotorcraft, as opposed
to fixed-wing aircraft, because their lift is generated by a set
of rotors (vertically oriented propellers).
 Quadcopters generally use two pairs of identical fixed
pitched propellers; two clockwise (CW) and
two counterclockwise (CCW)
 These use independent variation of the speed of each rotor
to achieve control
 By changing the speed of each rotor it is possible to
specifically generate a desired total thrust; to locate for
the centre of thrust both laterally and longitudinally; and to
create a desired total torque, or turning force

A quadcopter is a multirotor craft that is lifted and
propelled using four rotors
 The propellers of a quadrotor are vertically
oriented and each of them works in varying
speeds, giving the aerial vehicle some speed,
desired thrust and turning force, required in
moving the quadcopter on the air
 The rotation of the motor changes as per the
transmitted signals from the 6 channel transmitter
 The signals from the microcomputer goes to
ESC which inturn controls the speed of motor
 Due to the flexibility and simplicity of this system, it
can and has been used for various purposes. In
the military and law enforcement sphere, it has
been used to surveillance
 Larger versions of this system have been used to
transport military sorties for the military.
 Vedio bloggers use drones to further increase the
popularity of their vedios
 Shorter Lifespan: Even though drones are
convenient, the lifetime is shorter than the
traditional cameras that are used to capture
images or any media file before uploading on
social media, blogs, or documents
 Spying: When the criminal elements use drones
to fulfill their criminal intents, their targeted victims
are now vulnerable to privacy invasion
 Vulnerable to Wild Animal
Attacks: When flying drones to an area that
has a large concentration of wild animals, the
device is often considered creatures
 Larger flying animals such as eagles are
usually the main culprit when as they usually
attack or capture drones while navigating the
atmosphere and taking important photos or
videos
 Video bloggers will already know when their
drones suddenly disappear
 It is used for survelliance purpose by the
military
