Introduction (Pantaloons)
pantaloons retail (India) Ltd. Is a large , indian retailer ,
which is the part of the ‘FUTURE GROUP’ and operates
multiple retail formates in both the value and lifestyle
segment of the indian consumer market . The founder
and Raja of indian retail “ kishore biyani “ started his
career selling stone wash fabric as trader . And now with
the launch of Pantaloons , Big Bazaar ,Food bazaar , he
has redefined the retailing business in india.

With effect, the company started its discount
store business , which includes the big
bazaar hypermarket and the food bazaar ,
super market businesses , into future
value retail ltd. Its wholly owned subsidiary
and a subsidiary company ‘home town
solutions retail india ltd. ‘ operates in
house solutions stores .
Research problem
in this research , there is no particular problem was seen ,
and my this research is depends on to find out the
customers satisfaction , wants , needs , perception of
employees to the store .
And , to find out the answers to questions which were given
by mr. Sahil Raj , which are as follows:
1. why a particular retail store located in a particular
place?
2. How a particular store arranged in the departments
form?

customers?
4. What are the needs of people in that
area?
5. How they are targeting the customers?
6. How they are applying the advertisement
policies in that area?
Review of literature
In this research, I have considered many
research papers , thesis, and other
sources which are related with it.
Scope of the study
The study of this research is based on the
problems of a retailo store , named big
bazaar , which is located in the paras
down town square in zirakpur .
And scope of this study is also to find and
solve the problems of customers who are
visited there.
Objectives
the objectives of this research are to find all
that problems which are facing by the
customers.
1. The first objective of this research is to
find out the response of customers to the
big bazaar.
2. To find out the needs of customers of this
store.

3. To find out satisfaction of customers of big
bazaar.
4. To find out the strategies of the big bazaar.
5. To find out the perception of customers.
6. To find out the problems , which are faced by
the customers.
7. To find out the suggestions , which are helpful to
improve the management in this store.
Research methodology
Type of data – primary data was used in this
research , questionnaires were filled by the
customers , and interviews are conducted by the
employees .
Sampling design- to collect the data and to collect
the views of customers these sampling
techniques were used by me.
Population --- the target papulation for this survey
included all the customers of this retail stores ,
but only 30 questionnaires were filled by they
customers.

• Sample size- whole the customers were
listed in the whole universe but 30
respondents were chosen for this study.
• Sampling technique – probability sampling
technique was used to collect the data in
this research.
• Interviews – interviews also conducted
with the managers and with employess.

Manager ) mrs. Jasmine is the hr manager
in this store .
• Mr. Bhubnesh Sharma-( Store Manager)
mr. bhubnesh sharma is store manager in
this store in jirakpur and a good and a
responsible and a helpful person.

Conclusion
In the conclusion , big bazaar is really a big
and good retail bazaar business in the
Punjab and Haryana and in the
Chandigarh region. The staff is very good
and helpful with the customers and other
visitors . Arrangement in the store is very
good , and all the employees are
responsible to their work.
Suggestions
After the study over this research , in the
result , I have many suggestions which
are helpful to improve the customers
services in this store.
• Drinking water should be provided by
the management in the store.
• there is no any wash room in the store ,
it should be there.

3. After many billing stations , there are
many customers feel it should be
improved .
4. the rates should be checked with the
actual rates.
5. Advertisement should be more than
present time.
