Radio Frequency (RF) Solution in

Warehouse Management
• What is SAP RF?
The ability to run SAP transactions directly on radio frequency
equipment through a handheld or forklift mounted device
eliminates the need for middleware since the devices connect to
SAP R/3. Due to the varying screen size of the different
RF devices, SAP has developed special transactions with very easy-
to-use logic. The SAP solution is focused on real-
time handling of material flow through RF scanning devices. The
concept of having the screens and the business logic
within the SAP system makes it easy to administrate, easy to
distribute new processes to each device, and easy to set
up integration test scenarios

Make entry as per your warehouse


RF requirement. Assign standard or
custom t-code to relevant entry. If
you
have only configured IM level
solution, then assigned custom T-
code accordingly.
RF Queue Management
• Configure RF Queue management :
IMG: Logistics Execution --> Mobile
Data Entry --> RF Queue
Management --> Assign processor to
queue (T-CODE : LRFMD)
• Assign only SAP user id to warehouse
number to access RF (Mobile data
entry). Make new entry by adding
warehouse number, screen size, T-
code (MAIN as per menu) and activate
status. If one user ID is allowed to
access multiple warehouses then
make multiple entries by de-activating
status field and save entries.
• Use LM77 transaction to change
warehouse number while accessing RF
menu.
