1. Foods like vegetables, fruits ,
fish, meat and juice, give our
body the nutrients it needs.
Foods packed or canned like
corned beef, sardines, fruit
cocktails, and others should
be check the ingredients or
substances contained in the
different materials and the
expiry date of the products
in the labels. You might be
buying food without
nutritional value.

additives are
usually added to
processed food.Ex:
food coloring,flavor

3. Vitamins make our body more


resistant to sickness. Medicines like
paracetamol are taken to relieve
pain or treat diseases like headache
and fever.
Use these as prescribed by doctors.

4. Liquid detergents are used in
washing clothes. Muriatic acid
and other disinfectants are used
for cleaning the toilet and the
bathroom.

If not properly used they can


cause respiratory diseases
especially when it is inhaled.

These must be used as indicated

kill insects like
mosquitoes, flies, and
cockroaches.

If it is not used properly


it can make us sick.

Alcohol, cigarettes and certain
types of drugs are harmful to
people.
It can damage the lungs,body
organs and change the way a
person thinks and acts.

Person should always say


“NO” to harmful drugs tokeep
