What is education?
Education is the most
powerful weapon.. it means
acquiring knowledge by
learning.
The process of receiving or
giving systematic instruction,
especially at a school or
university and an enlightening
experience.
It is the process of
facilitating learning or the
acquisition of knowledge,
skills, values, beliefs and
habits.
Educational methods include
storytelling, discussion,
teaching, training, and
directed research.
What is education system?
Education system generally
refers to public schooling,
private schooling, and more
commonly to kindergarten
What are the types of education ?
a. Formal education is
classroom – base provided
by trained teachers.
b. Informal education happen
outside the classroom,
in after- school programs,
community based organizations,
museums, libraries, or at homes.
c. Non- formal education
Which country has the best

What is education system in Japan?

The basic school system in


Japan is composed of
elementary level ( six years)
middle school ( three years )
High school ( three years )
University ( four years ).
In Japanese schools, the
students don’t take any
exams until they reach
grade 4 the age of 10.
They just take small tests. It is
believe that the goal for the first 3
years of school . It’s not to judge the
child’s knowledge or learning, but to
stablish good manners and develop
their characters.
Children are taught to respect
other people and to be gentle to
animals and creature. They also
learn to generous,compassionate
and empathetic.
Most Japanese schools do not
employ janitors or custodians.
The students clean their
schools themselves
Does Japan have a good education system?
The gimukyoiku ( compulsory education )
period is 9 years
6 in shougakkou ( elementary school ).
Educational system is so good, Japan has
of the world’s best educated populations
with zero literacy.
The Japanese educational system
believes that requiring students to
clean up after themselves teaches
them to work in a team and help
each other.
In Japanese schools, school
lunch is provided on a
standardized menu and is
eaten in a classroom.
Is education free in Japan?
There are no entrance
examination or tuition fees for
public elementary and junior
high school.
The Ministry of education is
closely supervised the
curriculum, textbooks, and
classes and maintain uniform
level of education throughout
the country.
As a result, a high
standard education is
possible.
How many hours a day do Japanese
students go to school?
Kids have to be at school by
8:45 a.m. school finish around
3:15 p.m., so they have to be
in school
For about six and half hours everyday
from Monday to Friday. However
most kids also attend after school
clubs and many also go to Juku
(cramschool) in the evening to do
extra studying.
