Definition

Food poisoning is a condition that arises


from eating foods that have been contaminated
by infection organisms such or bacteria,
viruses and parasites.

Causes Of Food Poisoning

 Bacteria, viruses and parasitis


 Don’t cook eveniy, especially meat.
 Eating food that have passed the expired
 Dirty hand touch the food
 Fish products that are served raw or undercooked
 Meats and hot dogs that are not heated or cooked
 Raw unwashed fruits and vegetables

Maybe able to diagnose the type of food


poisoning based on symptoms. In severe cases,
blood tests, stool tests, and tests on food that have
eaten may be conducted to determine what is
responsible for the food poisoning. May also use a
urine test to evaluate whether an individual is
dehydrated as a result of food poisoning.
Prevent food poisoning

1. Wash hands
2. Keep raw meat separate
3. Store raw meat on the bottom shelf
4. Cook food thoroughly
5. Keep your fridge below 5C
6. Cool leftovers quickly
7. Look food dates expired

such as sodium, potossium and calcium that
maintain fluid balance in the body

Dehydration can weaken the body. Therefore
you need to rest
