Conclusions
• The retail market isn’t as attractive as it was a few years ago , because of the opportunities that the corporate market
offers, especially in Bucharest, Timisoara and Cluj (better benefits, better salaries and a fixed schedule)
• The big corporations are constantly growing and are always on the lookout for quality personnel. They use various
recruiting methods: recruiting sites(eJobs, BestJobs,Hipo, etc), recruiting firms(Adecco, Manpower), social media
(Facebook, LinkedIn) and headhunting
• People choose us because working in retail offers more flexibility , faster development and a more dynamic
environment, but most of the people that we interviewed don’t see themselves working in this domain on the long
therm
• As you could see on the “Fluctuation Rate” chart we have an ascending trend, over the past 3 year (only exception is
Constanta) and the main reason is that we don’t keep up with everything that the corporate market has to offer.
• The most asked benefits are: Private Health Care, Meal Tickets ,Staff Discount for family members( all our competitors
already offer this benefits)
