ELEKTROSTICK

Batisla-on, A.H., Bolves, A. M., Jocson C.J., and Villanueva A. J.

Purpose Statement

 The Elektrostick is a “sticker” designed to charge your device through a

clean, sustainable way with the use of solar energy distributed by Qi wireless
technology to be a replacement for bulky traditional power banks.
What is it?

• The Elektrostick is a power bank minus the bulkiness. It sticks to your

electronic device with a sticker and is powered by solar energy. It also
eliminates the use of cables as it makes use of Qi (pronounced as “chee”)
wireless charging.
Discussion

• . Qi technology is "an open interface standard that defines wireless power

transfer using inductive charging or the charging of devices using an
electromagnetic field (“Inductive Charging,” n.d.). The system uses a
charging pad and a compatible device, which is placed on top of the pad. As
soon as the Elektrostick is stuck on the device, it immediately charges it. It is
a universal charger and can be used by any device as long as it is Qi enabled.
